Lessons
We offer private, semi-private and group lessons in basic horsemanship, jumping and dressage. We require all riders to wear an ASTM approved 1163 safety riding helmet as well as boots or hard soled shoes when riding or longeing a horse. Our large parking lot makes it easy to turn around a truck and horse trailer. Ride your own horse or one of our school horses suitable for beginners and more experienced riders of all ages.
Clinics
On regular dates, we have visiting clinicians for dressage, jumping and other riding activities. Our past visiting clinicians have included Ulla Boysen, Carol MacArdle, Charles de Kunffy, Henrik Johanssen, Gary Striker, Cathy McClatchy, Leigh Cochran and many others over the years.
Shows
Each spring we hold a schooling dressage schooling show which is part of the Oktoberfest Schooling Show Series. Our show is put on to help newcomers learn the required format for approved dressage shows. The shows is run to the format of approved shows with “L” judges or well qualified and experienced local judges. We use the same kind of entry forms as the approved shows and we use the tests such as are used in approved shows. In our shows judges are allowed to teach a little bit which they may not do in approved shows.
Our Shop
We carry a selection of riding breeches by Euro-fit, as well as new and used tack. We can take orders for custom boots, and saddles, as well as help you with tack and helmet fitting. Our goal is to help customers find what they need at a reasonable price.
